A wide range of events will be held nationwide to commemorate the 23th death anniversary of renowned Vietnamese songwriter Trinh Cong Son (1939-2001).

The musical extravaganza will pay tribute to the talented icon of Vietnamese neo-music, who left a vast legacy with over 600 songs.

Japanese professor Michiko Yoshii, one of Vietnamese celebrated songwriter Trinh Cong Son’s muses, has submitted a request to Vietnamese Cinema Department to ask for the official apology from the producer of the film Em Và Trịnh (You and Trịnh).

Two movies about legendary musician Trinh Cong Son, entitled “Em va Trinh” (Trinh and I) and “Trinh Cong Son”, will be released at the same time on June 17, 2022, the producer has announced.
