Many tourists complain that they feel bored as Hanoi doesn’t have many attractive activities to enjoy at night. Travel firms admit they find it difficult to schedule night activities for foreign travelers.

Vietnam should have a clear legal framework, mechanisms and policies to support investment in the night time economy.

HCM City authorities are focusing on efforts to develop historic and cultural heritage attractions and tourism products and services at night to boost the tourism industry and exploit the night economy, city leaders said.

Night-time economic activities have been around in Vietnam for many years, especially in big cities and tourism hubs. However the night time economy is still quite fragmented and and spontaneous.
