Digital technology will be the key for Vietnam to realise the target of growing into a powerful nation with a thriving economy over the next quarter of a century.
It is time for Vietnam to master technologies to make sure local businesses, organisations and people are protected from cyber-attacks, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung said on November 29.
Vietnam is joining more than 100 other countries and territories at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Telecom World 2019, taking place in Budapest from September 9-12.
Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung, who is Special Envoy of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, attended a ceremony celebrating the 20th anniversary of Timor Leste’s independence referendum on August 30 evening.

All foreign firms, especially cross-border service providers such as Google, YouTube, Facebook and the like, must comply with Vietnamese law while operating in the country, stated Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung.
