Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security Lt. Gen. Luong Tam Quang answered reporters’ queries about the raid on a major gambling ring led by Chinese nationals in Hai Phong during the government’s press conference on August 1.

VietNamNet Bridge - Dozens of casinos have been built along the Vietnam-Cambodia border for the purpose of luring Vietnamese gamblers.
VietNamNet Bridge - At 4.15pm on January 10, three young men fell from the fifth floor of an apartment building on Quach Van Tuan street, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City to the ground. Two died while the remaining is critical.
VietNamNet Bridge – At 1.30pm on November 29, more than 200 police officers stormed a motel in Dinh Bang Ward, Tu Son Town, Bac Ninh Province. They caught more than 100 gamblers in the act and seized several billion dong.
