The Vietnam Pay Television Association (VNPayTV) has confirmed that it will not buy, at any cost, the broadcast rights to English Premier League (EPL) football in Vietnam for three seasons from 2016 to 2019.

The Vietnam Association of Pay TV (VNpayTV) has just sent a letter to the MP & Silva Company asking for negotiations over the broadcasting rights for English Premier League for the 2016-2019 period with 10 TV stations in Vietnam.

 VietNamNet Bridge – A representative of K + (VSTV) has announced to broadcast the entire English Premier League (EPL) (380 games per season) in the three years from 2013 to 2016 in Vietnam.

IMG stressed that VTV and all members of the Vietnam Association of Pay-TV Service Providers that want to broadcast the Premier League in the next three seasons will have to ask for direct license from IMG Media, not from any third party.
