The outbreaks of the African Swine Fever (ASF) were observed in 17 provinces and cities in Vietnam, according to the Department of Animal Health’s latest report on March 14.
The Red Sunday programme will take place across 25 provinces and cities nationwide this year, with 40 blood donation events scheduled.
Twenty million people in 11 provinces and cities in the southern region of the country are being affected by the worsening water pollution in the Dong Nai River, all of who use the river water for some form of daily activity or production.
Big cities, which once fed whole families of immigrant workers, have turned out to be the severe land for them in the current economic crisis. Returning to home villages and working on rice fields proves to be the only choice for them now.
A project to reduce fumes from motorbike fuel exhausts has been prepared by the Vietnam Registry Department and is expected to be submitted to the Prime Minister by the Ministry of Transport by the end of this year.
