The 1937cn, a group of Chinese hackers who attacked 1,000 websites in Vietnam on May 30-31, exploited vulnerabilities on websites, including simple holes such as SQL Injection, an old version of FCKeditor plugin and the WebDAV service.

VietNamNet Bridge - FireEye has released a report saying that Chinese hackers were behind a series of cyberattacks on Vietnam, other Southeast Asian countries and India over the last 10 years.

 The Vietnam Information Safety Association is investigating security breaches to as many as 745 websites in Vietnam during the National Day holiday, the agency announced on its website securitydaily.net on September 5.

Security experts from VNCERT (the Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Team) and BKAV, have confirmed that 220 websites have been hacked by Chinese, but dismissed reports that a Vietnam-China cyberwar is underway.
