Fishermen in the fishing village of Binh Chau in Binh Son District, the central Quang Ngai province have publicly sold antiques collected from the 700 -year-old wreck or display them at home after a long period of hiding.

 VietNamNet Bridge – On August 16, people of Chau Thuan village in Binh Chau Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai Province, discovered the 2nd ancient ship which was only 100m from the wreck found early this year.

To preserve the underwater cultural heritage in Binh Chau, Quang Ngai, authorities have assigned Doan Anh Duong Co., Ltd. to expand the survey area to look for other ancient ships in the surrounding area of the 700-year-old wreck.

Waves of more than 5m high hit the wreck that contains 500-year-old antiques in the waters of Binh Chau in the central province of Quang Ngai this morning, June 11. The excavation was suspended for the safety of dozens of professionals and workers.

More than 500 years after the explosion that wrecked the ship carrying ceramic items in the waters of Binh Chau commune, Quang Ngai Province, hundreds of antiquities from the wreck were picked up from the seabed on June 4.

Nearly 16,000 Chu Dau ceramic items which were collected from a wreck in Cu Lao Cham in Quang Nam province were shared between the salvage company and Quang Nam authorities at the proportion of 70/30.
