The paintings are diverse, from portraits to animals and the things like shirt, blouse, bow, etc. Some pictures are burned to offer life of the one in the picture for the living.
Families burn the number of paintings equivalent to the number of family members. They also burn paintings for their animals to bless the animals free from diseases.
Paintings of Sinh village are produced from molds.
Artisan Ky Huu Phuoc, the oldest artisan in Sinh village, said in the ancient time, Sinh villagers used sophisticated techniques to make paintings. In the modern society, these ancient techniques have been replaced by modern ones.
