Quynh’s products not only limited to blankets.

Quynh first learned about quilting 10 years ago when she came across an online photo. And it has been her passion since then.

“It was late 2013 when I was attracted to the photo of a quilt made from many pieces of fabric with colorful, vivid and cheerful colors. I began to learn and practice sewing techniques related to quilting and fabric stitching. My first creation was a quilted blanket for a friend's child. I was surprised that it was praised by so many people,” Quynh recalled.

Quynh's handcrafted products are sought after by many people since they are not just a mere sewn product but an actual work of art made through many stages.

Firstly, Quynh starts with a sketch on paper and then chooses harmonious and beautiful fabric colors.

“In the past, making blankets was much simpler with the firefly painting pre-printed on fabric. But to make all the details by hand, I had to devote a lot of effort,” Quynh said.

Hundreds of small pieces of blue-toned fabric are cut into squares, flattened, and sewn together on one large canvas to make borders around the blanket.

"Depending on the sophistication, it takes from one month to several months to finish one," Quynh said.

Each blanket has about three layers with the upper layer being the picture, the bottom being soft fabric of the same color and the middle a cotton wool layer. Quynh often uses 100% cotton raw fabric or higher quality silk, brocade, velvet imported from the UK, Korea and Japan or the US.

“For those who love the art of quilting, they just need passion and a bit more patience with a needle and thread and pieces of fabric,” Quynh added.

Each blanket is like a vivid picture with an attractive quilted swirl.
