Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh

Miss Vietnam 2016 as vice chair of husband’s family company

At a recent T&T Group event, Do My Linh, Miss Vietnam 2016, was introduced as Vice Chair of T&T Retail Co Ltd (TTR).

As a subsidiary of T&T Group, TTR operates in retail, providing leasing and management services for commercial centers, office buildings, and officetels. The 29-year-old beauty queen assumed the role just a few months ago.

Miss Do My Linh married Do Vinh Quang, the second son of tycoon Do Quang Hien (known as “Boss Hien”), in October 2022 in Hanoi. Vinh Quang currently chairs the Board of Directors of Trang Thi Service Trading JSC, also a T&T Group’s subsidiary.

In the retail sector, T&T Group once launched the Qmart supermarket chain. However, to this day, this retail chain remains absent from the market.

However, he’s better known as the Chair of Hanoi FC in 2020, the post which he took at the age of 25, when he was the youngest club chairman in domestic football.

Before that, Do Vinh Quang earned a master’s degree in finance in the UK, then returned to Vietnam to work as a specialist in the Investment Management Department of T&T Group.

In recent years, the generational transition in tycoon Hien’s family has become evident through the appointment of his eldest son, Do Quang Vinh (My Linh’s brother-in-law), as Deputy General Director of the bank in October 2021. At SHB’s 2021 shareholder meeting, Vinh was officially elected to the Board of Directors. In April 2023, Do Quang Vinh was appointed Vice Chair of the Board.

Miss Huong Giang runs her own entertainment company

Huong Giang, a renowned singer, actress, and beauty queen, was born in 1991 in Hanoi. She joined the Vietnamese showbiz in 2012 by attending Vietnam Idol 2012, quickly making her mark on reality TV and scoring several hits. Her fame soared when she won Miss International Queen 2018.

Leveraging her social media influence, she’s grown her business ventures, particularly in online sales.

Her standout achievement is arguably her own company, Huong Giang Entertainment, founded in 2019. By April 2023, reports indicated the 90s-born queen’s firm had boosted its charter capital from VND2 billion to VND10 billion.

Through hard work, Huong Giang owns a string of properties from North to South and a fleet of luxury cars.

Miss Vietnam 2010 steps down as real estate firm executive

In May 2024, the Board of Directors of Ninh Van Bay Tourism Real Estate JSC (NVT) approved the resignation of Miss Dang Thi Ngoc Han (aka Miss Ngoc Han) as Deputy General Director, citing her need to “focus on other personal goals.”

Appointed in March 2022, Ngoc Han earned roughly VND1.4 billion in salary, bonuses, commissions, and allowances at NVT in 2023—a 50 percent jump from VND933 million in 2022.

Born in 1989, Ngoc Han won Miss Vietnam 2010. Beyond entertainment, she’s ventured into business and investment in recent years.

Trained in fashion design at the University of Industrial Fine Arts, she’s shifted into designing and selling ao dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress) and men’s suits, finding success with her brands.

Yet, at a seminar in October 2021, she admitted her entrepreneurial journey wasn’t smooth sailing, countering the notion that “beauty queens have it easy in business.”

Miss Do Thi Ha’s company dissolved after one year of operation

Adela Group Co Ltd, co-owned by Miss Vietnam 2020 Do Thi Ha with a 50 percent stake, announced its dissolution late last year due to market and operational challenges.

The dissolution has since been updated in the national business registration system.

Adela Group was only established in August 2023, with its head office located in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. Its main business involved operating specialized, general, and dental clinics.

Adela Group had charter capital of VND10 billion, of which Do Thi Ha contributed VND5 billion (50 percent), while Hoang Khanh Chi also contributed VND5 billion (50 percent) and served as director and legal representative.

Born in 2001, Do Thi Ha won Miss Vietnam 2020, represented Vietnam at Miss World 2021, and reached the top 13. Her reign ended in December 2022.

The Thanh Hoa native graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business law from the National Economics University in Hanoi and is now a familiar face in fashion.
