Welcoming ceremony held for Vietnamese Frigate Tran Hung Dao in Vladivostok

On July 24, the Vietnamese frigate Tran Hung Dao docked in Vladivostok, Russia, where it was met with a formal welcome by the Pacific Fleet. The crew will participate in cultural activities and explore the local maritime heritage.

TASS news agency reported that the frigate Tran Hung Dao docked in Vladivostok on the morning of July 24 as part of a friendly visit to the city.

"After the Tran Hung Dao docked alongside many Russian warships inside the main base of the Pacific Fleet, a welcoming ceremony was held, presided over by Rear Admiral Alexey Sysuyev," the statement read.

During their visit to Vladivostok, the crew of the Tran Hung Dao is expected to participate in various local cultural activities and visit the Pacific Fleet Museum.
