Led by Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Acting Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province, the competition council comprises representatives from various departments, branches, and sectors within the province, as well as experts in planning, architecture, economics, society, and the environment.

The competition aims to identify an innovative and feasible urban planning concept for Long Thanh Airport and its adjacent areas, ultimately driving socio-economic progress in the region and Dong Nai Province.

Participating entities, including reputable domestic and international companies, organizations, or consortia specializing in planning design, architecture, and consulting, are encouraged to showcase strategic consulting and urban planning expertise, along with a proven track record in similar projects.

The proposed urban planning idea covers Long Thanh District, as well as Nhon Trach, Cam My, Thong Nhat, and Trang Bom Districts, encompassing an area of approximately 57,000 hectares.

Competition winners, expected to be announced around mid-August, will share a total prize pool of 4.5 billion VND, with prizes ranging from 2 billion VND for the first prize to 500 million VND for the third prize. Units that do not secure a prize will receive support ranging from 200-250 million VND.
