VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese students have got two silvers at the second World Physics Olympiad (WoPhO) held at the Hotel Aryaduta Lippo Village, Tangerang, Indonesia from December 28, 2012 to January 3rd, 2013.

The awardees were Ngo Phi Long from the Son La Gifted High School in the northern mountainous province of Son La and Dinh Ngoc Hai from the Bien Hoa Gifted High School in the northern province of Ha Nam. Long won a gold medal at the International Physics Olympiad in 2012 (IPhO).  

Participants in the WoPhO came from sixteen countries including Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Estonia, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Germany, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland, and Vietnam.

The WoPhO has been held annually since 2011 for students aged under 20 until June 30 and those who have not entered university until June 30.
