On the afternoon of March 16, the Hanoi Museum hosted the official announcement of the Global Student Fashion Week 2025 (GSFW).

Scheduled to take place from December 4-9, 2025, the event is held under the auspices of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) and the Vietnam Record Association.

With the theme of Sustainable Fashion, the showcased designs will not only demonstrate advanced fashion techniques but also convey strong messages about environmental responsibility, recycling culture, and the application of modern technology in fashion.

GSFW founder and chairman, Le Tran Dac Ngoc, revealed that the event will feature 150 designers from 30 fashion schools, 999 beauty queens and kings from various countries, 900 dancers, and over 6,000 VIP guests.

"The groundbreaking aspect of GSFW 2025 is the complete elimination of hierarchy on the runway - there will be no first face or vedette. Every model will be equally honored, reflecting a spirit of innovation that challenges old norms and fosters a truly creative space," Le Tran Dac Ngoc emphasized.

In addition to international beauty queens and kings, the event will also host 500 campus pageant winners and runners-up from Vietnamese universities and colleges, who will serve as Global Student Model Ambassadors.

The event will also be guided by a panel of esteemed advisors, including Dr. Le Doan Hop, former Minister of Information and Communications; Dr. Thang Van Phuc, former Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and Chairman of the Vietnam Record Association; and People's Artist Tran Ly Ly.
