The show, which is the first of its kind ever to be organised by Khanh Thi, will be divided into three parts, featuring the performances of 100 dancers and internationally renowned choreographers.

Such performances will reveal Thi’s love stories with her former dance partner, Chi Anh, and her current husband and also dance partner, Phan Hien. Her stories of studying abroad and realising dreams will also be told via the dancing performances.

Khanh Thi –Liveshow 25 Years will include 30 dancing performances of tap dance, tango, jive and samba, in addition to musicals, circus performances and singing.

The highlight of the event is the dancing performance of Vietnamese Queen of Dancesport accompanied by the first porcelain violin in the world. The musical instrument is the creation of her elder brother, violinist Xuan Huy, as a special present for the show.

“I find dancing does not bring as much money or fame as singing. Therefore, on reaching the age of 40, having my own family, I sometimes felt discouraged on thinking about holding my own live show. Thanks to the encouragement of some of my friends, I decided to have one after two years of nurturing,” Khanh Thi said at a press conference.

Khanh Thi was considered as a pioneer of dancesport in Viet Nam. She was taught at the age of nine and took up dancesport when she was 18, which has remained her passion until today, at the age of 36.

She has won many domestic and international awards in dancesport, including three Viet Nam Open Dancesport Championship Awards, an AIG Award and a SEA Games.
