Active coordination and the maintenance of regular and irregular meetings have allowed border localities of Vietnam and Cambodia to deploy reached agreements efficiently, helping maintain security and stability in the shared border.

 The Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) will continue close and effective cooperation with the Lao People’s Army to help strengthen the two countries’ special relations, Deputy Defence Minister and Chief of the General Staff of the VPA Phan Van Giang said.

 Deputy Defence Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh expressed his hope that New Zealand will share its experience in peacekeeping activities and strategic research while meeting New Zealand’s Ambassador to Vietnam Wendy Matthews in Hanoi on March 15.
