Update news Vietnam’s labour market
Ho Chi Minh City will need some 310,000 - 330,000 workers for job vacancies next year, according to the latest survey of the city’s Human Resources Forecasting and Labour Market Information (Falmi) Centre.
The number of employed workers is on the rise, but the labour market growth is not sustainable, due to a significant proportion of informal employment and unstable jobs.
Many localities in the Southern Key Economic Zone have continued to see improvements in the labour market.
Vietnam’s labour market has undergone significant transformation due to technological advancements, the COVID-19 pandemic, and economic shifts, necessitating adaptation from both employees and recruiters to new trends.
