VTV Binh Dien Long An Volleyball Club said its player Tran Thi Thanh Thyy has received a four-year scholarship worth US$160,000 from Oregon State University in the US.

Thuy, 18, received the full support of the club managers. She is still considering the offer as her English is at a very basic level. Thuy, 1.90m, is a key player for both her club and country.

She is currently on loan to Thailand’s Bangkok Glass.
