According to AppliedHE, Duy Tan University ranked 15th with 61,08 points, while Thanh Do University was placed 19th with 59,17 points.
The AppliedHE Private University Ranking: ASEAN+ looks at only private universities, with rankings highlighting the quality of teaching and learning, employability, and research, as well as other factors such as community engagement, internationalisation, and institutional reputation.
In addition to universities around ASEAN, the second ‘plus’ edition this year also features other universities from places such as Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong (China), Kazakhstan, and Taiwan (China).
The AppliedHE Private University Ranking: ASEAN+ focuses on what is important to students, considering factors such as teaching and learning (40%), employability (15%), research (15%), community engagement (10%), internationalisation (10%), and institutional reputation (10%).
Last year saw Duy Tan University become the only Vietnamese representative to make the top 10 of the Private University Ranking: ASEAN.
The University was also listed in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2023, which includes nearly 1,800 universities across 104 countries and regions, the largest and most diverse of its kind to date.
