VietNamNet Bridge - Apple’s latest-generation iPad which was introduced to the public recently has received much praise from Vietnamese technology experts.

“I am most impressed with iPad Pro,” said Nguyen Lac Huy from CellphoneS, a large technology product distribution chain. 

“Apple actually has created a good product with the design and features far more outstanding than other products now available,” he said.

iPad Pro, the latest-generation iPad – iPad Pro – has a large 12.9 inch screen and high 2732 x 2048 pixel resolution with A9X microprocessor, four speakers, main/auxiliary 8MP/2MP cameras and video capability of 1080/720p.

Vu Duc Hai, deputy director of FPT Shop’s Service Center, also said she had a good impression about the iPad Pro.

He also noted that Apple’s launching of iPad Pro would help stir up the market again as interest in the iPad had waned.

Mai Trieu Nguyen, the owner of Mai Nguyen distribution chain, also likes iPad Pro and Apple TV, and thinks that iPad Pro targets a new group of customers who use iPad for entertainment purposes, surf on the internet, access Facebook, watch images and video clips.

“The appearance of iPad Pro will help call customers’ attention back to tablets as the tablet market share is decreasing,” Nguyen said.

Dao Nhat Huy, the owner of a mobile phone shop in district 10, HCM City, noted that iPad Pro was designed for new group of customers, the users of Apple Macbook who do not have high work requirements.

Besides the outstanding features in screen size and hardware configuration, Vietnamese Apple fans have been impressed by the fact that every new product has been introduced with associated apps.

When iPad Pro was introduced, a representative from Microsoft came to the stage to introduce office software for iPad Pro, which was unusual as Microsoft and Apple have been opponents.

Nguyen Hong Phuc, a security expert who has deep knowledge about Apple, said Samsung also makes multitasking tablets, but Apple is one step ahead because it can cooperate with software makers who can make Apple’s products useful.

However, though iPad Pro has been praised, it is not for everyone. Nguyen from Mai Nguyen distribution chain believes this iPad is primarily for business people.

Nguyen said wifi and 4G 128GB models are relatively expensive. However, he thinks the products deserve high prices.

According to Tung Ha, a founder of Techrum.vn, a technology forum, the iPad Pro can act as a ‘bridge’ between a tablet and laptop, which other technology manufacturers have not produced.
