An invention of a braking system for elevatorsby Nguyen Van Khanh, Nguyen Bao Long and Dang Vo Quang Huy (from Hanoi’s TrungVuong High School) won the gold medal, the best innovation award from theorganising board, and a special prize from the innovation association of Koreanuniversities.
Another gold medal went to a smart camera systemfor early fire warning designed by Hoang Huyen Anh (from Hanoi’s Chu Van AnHigh School), Le Thuy Linh (from Hanoi’s Amsterdam High School), and NguyenLuong Bang (from Hanoi’s Trung Vuong High School).
An automatic directing system for solar waterheaters by Nguyen Ha My (from Hanoi’s Chu Van An High School), Do Bao Nhi (fromHanoi’s Thang Long High School), and Nguyen Gia Thinh (from Hanoi’s Viet DucHigh School) bagged the silver medal.
The IYIA was held by theIndonesian Invention and Innovation PromotionAssociation (INNOPA) under the sponsorship of the World InventionIntellectual Property Associations (WIIPA).
It aims to promote innovation andentrepreneurship among youngsters and increase their awareness aboutintellectual property as well as exchange about transferring technology andpromoting trade of science-technology products./. VNA
