VietNamNet Bridge – The third edition of the only virtual stock investment competition for Vietnamese students in the UK – the Student Investment Challenge (SIC) – declared a winner on February 15.

The champions of the game, which involved virtual trading of stocks, were the DNST team, comprising of students from Queen Mary University, the London School of Commerce and the University of East Anglia.
Co-organised by Vietnamese Professionals in the UK (VietPro) and the Vietnamese Society (VietSoc) at the City of London University, the contest was competed by 59 teams from 35 universities across the UK.
According to Nguyen Huu Phuong Thao, VietPro President, since its launch in 2010, SIC has provided an interesting and helpful financial-banking educational tool for Vietnamese students in the UK.
Tran Quang Thach, a financial expert at Barclays bank and a SIC jury member, praised the competitors and their deep business knowledge, adding that the event has provided them a perfect platform to practice stock-market trading before graduating.
