Tuan, 42, from northern Hai Phong City, was accused of providing smuggled mobile phones to Dong Nam Company.

The wanted notice is valid in 185 countries.

In 2003, Nguyen Gia Thieu, who managed Dong Nam Company, was arrested for smuggling more than 4,000 mobile phones worth over VND152billion (US$6.76million).

Tuan was reported to have directly received the illegally exported goods from Thieu and sold them on the domestic market.

Tuan and three other suspects related to the case went on the run after being charged by the police.

Three people, including Bui Thien Kim, Nguyen Truong Son and Hoang Ngoc Diep, are also wanted by the police.
