Thuy finished third with a total lift of 196kg in this division.

Diaz Hidilyn Francisco of the Philippines took the gold medal with a total lift of 214kg, while Kim Su Ryon of North Korea bagged the silver medal (208kg).

Earlier, Vuong Thi Huyen won two gold medals in the women's 48kg event.

In the men's 56kg event, Tran Le Quoc Toan claimed two silver medals and a bronze medal.

The competition will end on September 12.
