The event recognized 10 outstanding athletes, 5 top coaches, 3 sports teams, 5 para-athletes, and 3 prominent coaches for athletes with disabilities who achieved exceptional results in 2024.

Among the 10 outstanding athletes honored were Trinh Thu Vinh (shooting), Tran Quyet Chien (billiards), Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen (volleyball), Nguyen Thi Huong (canoeing), Pham Thi Hue (rowing), Nguyen Thuy Linh (badminton), Nguyen Thi That (cycling), Ha Thi Linh (boxing), Tran Thi Nhi Yen (athletics), and Do Thi Anh Nguyet (archery).

The list of 5 outstanding national coaches included Nguyen Tuan Kiet (volleyball), Nguyen Viet Hoa (billiards), Nguyen Dinh Hoang (women's futsal), Luu Van Hoan (canoeing), and Tran Quoc Cuong (shooting).

During the event, weightlifter Le Van Cong and his coach Le Quang Thai were honored with the Third-Class Labor Medal from the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for their achievements in para-sports.

Additionally, badminton player Nguyen Thuy Linh was named the Most Popular Athlete on TikTok, while the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was awarded the Most Popular Sports Team on the platform.

Nguyen Xuan Son, the celebrated striker, claimed the title of Most Popular Football Player.
