Fans had high hopes that both Bich Tuyen and Bich Thuy would make the cut. Bich Tuyen is widely regarded as one of Southeast Asia’s most powerful attackers, while Bich Thuy impressed during her previous stint with GS Caltex in the Korean league.
At the opening round of Vietnam’s 2025 National Volleyball Championship in Dong Anh (Hanoi), GS Caltex’s head coach Young Taik Lee personally observed the duo in action. He expressed admiration for Bich Tuyen’s explosive attacking power, suggesting she could make a strong impact in Korea.
Despite the recognition of their talent, both athletes will now shift their focus to national duties. They are scheduled to join the Vietnam women’s volleyball team on April 15 in Hanoi.
