After multiple intense rounds, the prestigious crown was awarded to Thanh Thao, while the first, second, third, and fourth runner-up titles went to Pham Thi Dan Chi, Nguyen Thanh Thanh, Bui Thi Thu Thin, and Nguyen Minh Thu, respectively.

A platform for culture and diplomacy

This year's competition was hosted across Vietnam, Japan, and Thailand, with the final night held in Thailand. More than just a beauty pageant, Miss International Friendship & Culture serves as a platform for promoting cultural exchange and strengthening international ties.

The Top 15 contestants competed in key segments, including the national costume showcase, swimsuit round, and evening gown presentation.

A poised and confident winner

During the Q&A segment, Thanh Thao impressed the judges with her intelligence and confidence when discussing how digitalization can be leveraged to promote global friendship and unity.

She expressed her pride in Vietnam's international integration and emphasized the crucial role of young people in fostering global connections.

"Vietnam and the world are in the digital age, and our country is making remarkable progress. Technology is now deeply integrated into daily life, and young people, especially our generation, play a vital role in promoting cultural exchange and international friendship. Social media - a space dominated by Gen Z - allows us to connect with friends worldwide. We want to showcase Vietnam as an amazing, rapidly developing country, and we are proud to be Vietnamese."

Born in 2002 in Dak Lak, Duong Thi Thanh Thao had already made a name for herself before winning this title.

She was previously crowned 1st runner-up at HUFLIT Student Beauty 2020 and made it to the Top 5 of Grand Voice at Miss Grand Vietnam 2024.
