On January 15, 2025, the 6th National Forum on Vietnam’s Digital Technology Enterprises was held in Hanoi under the theme: "Mastering digital technology, mastering Vietnam's digital transformation through Vietnamese digital technology enterprises."
General Secretary To Lam emphasized that digital technology businesses should focus on creating groundbreaking products and services that deliver real value, serving the people and the economy while meeting domestic and international market demands.
The forum aimed to communicate the messages of the Party, Government, and Prime Minister about developing Vietnamese technology enterprises to master strategic and digital technologies, implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, and driving Vietnam into an era of unprecedented growth.
Make in Vietnam: A catalyst for innovation
Over the past five years, the Make in Vietnam initiative has garnered widespread support from the business community, spurring creativity and innovation across various sectors.
Vietnamese-made digital technology products have not only been embraced by domestic consumers but have also made their way into international markets.
General Secretary To Lam praised the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) for organizing the forum shortly after the national conference to implement Resolution 57 of the Politburo.
This resolution focuses on scientific breakthroughs, technological innovation, and national digital transformation.
He highlighted the potential of advanced technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to drive the growth of key industries, foster innovation, and build an independent, sustainable, and comprehensive digital economy.
However, achieving these goals requires strong government commitment, business collaboration, and public participation.
