Vietnam’s national football team returned home triumphantly, bringing the 2024 ASEAN Cup trophy from Thailand. Thousands of fans gathered in Hanoi to celebrate their heroes’ victory.

At 2:00 PM, a vibrant crowd of football enthusiasts assembled at the VIP A entrance of Noi Bai International Airport to greet the players following their thrilling win the previous night. The atmosphere was electrifying, with supporters chanting and cheering for the team.

Among the crowd was Mr. Tao from Soc Son district, Hanoi, who donned a red outfit and brought a drum to enhance the festive atmosphere.

“Fans in my neighborhood formed a group of over 30 people to come here. We are incredibly proud,” he shared enthusiastically.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa from Dong Anh district, Hanoi, arrived at the airport as early as 11:30 AM to welcome the team.

“I am filled with love and pride for Vietnam’s national team,” she said, beaming with excitement.

Two double-decker buses were stationed nearby, ready to transport the players in a celebratory parade through the city.

The triumphant return of the team has reignited national pride, with fans from all walks of life uniting to honor their champions.
