VietNamNet Bridge – Several provinces and cities across the country have prepared plans to support candidates at the national high school exam, which will be held from July 1 to 4.

In a conference held yesterday (June 28) in Ha Noi to discuss preparations for the exam, the Ha Noi Department of Education and Training asked leaders of examination centres to check all the rooms and ensure infrastructure quality and quantity.
The leaders have been told to set up detailed plans on supervisors and ensure exam questions are secure.
The Youth Union in the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong, in co-ordination with the provincial Red Cross Society and other universities and colleges, will offer 2,300 free lunches, each worth VND25,000-30,000 (US$1.1-1.3), to the candidates.
The candidates can register for the lunch at the exam centres.
The province will offer free lodging for the night to 400 poor candidates from far-flung areas. The poorest candidates will also receive an allowance of VND510,000 ($22.7) each.
From June 29 to July 4, some 150 volunteers will be present at terminals and exam centres in the province to guide the candidates and their families.
Dak Nong has more than 6,000 candidates taking the exam this year.
The province’s Youth Union will also arrange cheap lodging for the night for more than 4,000 candidates, 500 free stays and 200 free meals for the candidates.
Nearly 200 volunteers will work from today to keep traffic in order and guide the candidates.
Quy Nhon City has set up eight traffic safety stations in the eight examination centres with the higher number of candidates to ensure traffic safety.
Binh Dinh Province has more than 13,400 candidates this year, half of last year’s number.
Thanh Hoa Central Province will give more than 20,000 free pensions to the candidates.
More than 4,000 lunches will be given to candidates with less money.
