Binh Dinh martial art has been handed down for hundreds of years since the 15th century. Military generals under the Tay Son regime (1778-1802) developed it to train their soldiers to fight foreign invaders.

Local martial artists bagged a total of three gold, three silver, and three bronze medals, thereby ranking second in the medal tally at Cambodia Kun Bokator National Championship which concluded on April 3 in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh.
