The ranking is part of the magazine’s annual Readers' Choice Awards, which gathers votes from readers around the world.

In its 37th edition, the awards received over 575,000 votes from readers, who evaluated their travel experiences in each country based on criteria such as culture, landscapes, tourism services, and infrastructure.

In the "Best Countries in the World" category, Vietnam ranked 15th with a score of 89/100.

According to comments from Condé Nast Traveler readers, Vietnam is increasingly attractive to tourists thanks to its rustic yet charming beauty.

"With the number of international visitors on the rise since 2019, Vietnam has evolved from a noteworthy destination into a must-visit location," stated the Condé Nast Traveler editorial team.

Another Southeast Asian country, Thailand, also made the list, coming in third with a score of 92.29. Topping the list this year is Japan, with a score of 95.32.

Condé Nast Traveler is a globally recognized travel magazine, launched in 1987 and headquartered in the United States. Its rankings, including the Readers' Choice Awards, are considered highly reputable by travel experts due to the input from millions of international readers.
