General Secretary To Lam’s visit to Indonesia, Singapore, and the ASEAN Secretariat marks a major milestone in Vietnam’s ASEAN diplomacy, as the country upgrades its ties with both nations to Comprehensive Strategic Partnerships.
Party General Secretary To Lam underlined that Vietnam always attaches great importance to and gives top priority to relations with Indonesia, a leading important country in the region.
Party General Secretary To Lam commended the Vietnamese community in Indonesia who, though smaller than in some other countries, have worked diligently, achieved business success, and made positive contributions to their host society.
Vietnam is committed to creating the best possible conditions for foreign businesses, including Indonesian enterprises, to invest and operate stably and sustainably in the country, said Party General Secretary To Lam.
The concert was a special event within the framework of Party General Secretary To Lam's state visit to Indonesia and official visit to the ASEAN Secretariat.
General Secretary To Lam and his spouse, Ngo Phuong Ly, have embarked on a state visit to Indonesia and an official visit to the ASEAN Secretariat.
Vietnam and Indonesia have shown strong determination in enhancing their bilateral economic relations. Bilateral trade has witnessed robust growth, surpassing 16 billion USD in 2024, a sharp rise from 8.07 billion USD in 2020
The Vietnamese Navy is actively involved in maritime security seminars, command and staff exercises ashore, drills at sea, and various cultural and sports exchanges.
