In a display of cultural diplomacy, the two Prime Ministers and their spouses visited Tran Quoc Pagoda and enjoyed Hanoi's iconic lakeside views.

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and his spouse Zinash Tayachew are on an official visit to Vietnam, where they are also attending the 4th P4G Summit (Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030) from April 14-17.

The first joint political consultation between Vietnam and Ethiopia was co-chaired by Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang and State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia Mesganu Arga.
