Vietnam’s BRG Group, which specialises in finance, banking and golf, signed a contract on March 19 with the Nicklaus Group to open Jack Nicklaus Academies in Vietnam.
BRG plans to build Jack Nicklaus Academies in Hanoi and Hai Phong City in the north, Da Nang City in the central region, and Ho Chi Minh City in the south. They will be equipped with the academy’s global-standard facilities and curricula.
The Jack Nicklaus Academy was founded by US golf player Jack Nicklaus, nicknamed the “Golfer of the Century” with 18 major championships and 25 years of experience in golf training. The academy’s network encompasses more than 20 establishments around the world.
Earlier, the BRG and Nicklaus Groups cooperated in constructing the international-level course Legend Hill Golf Resort in Hanoi’s outlying Soc Son District, the first to be designed by Nicklaus Design in Vietnam.
