The Ministry of Industry and Trade will act as the standing agency of the negotiation team.

In the coming period, the delegation will coordinate with relevant ministries and sectors to develop negotiation scenarios and strategies for a reciprocal trade agreement with the U.S., guided by principles of safeguarding national interests, ensuring mutual benefit, and sharing risks fairly.

The team will directly engage with U.S. counterparts to pursue a fair, balanced, and sustainable trade agreement that respects mutual interests and fosters win-win cooperation.

Upon conclusion of the negotiation process, the team is responsible for reporting the results to the Prime Minister and proposing necessary policy measures to implement the agreement once it is signed.
