Vietnam Airlines makes schedule adjustments due to operational restrictions on March 27-28.
Following recent safety incidents involving power banks, Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air have announced a ban on the use of power banks on all flights to minimize fire hazards.
As part of its expansion strategy, Vietnam Airlines plans to launch and restore 15 international routes in 2025, connecting Vietnam to key destinations such as Italy, Russia, Denmark, China, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the UAE.
The agreements affirmed the carrier’s pioneering role in the innovation and digital transformation process while providing a solid foundation for building large-scale aircraft repair hangars with cutting-edge technology at Long Thanh airport.
Vietnam Airlines will initially operate four round trips weekly between Ho Chi Minh City and Bali resort island’s Denpasar from June 1, with service on Wednesdays, Thursday, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The airline representative informed that the operation plan would be regularly updated by the airline in the following newsletters. Affected passengers will be supported by the airline according to regulations.
By the end of 2024, the airline achieved a profit before tax of VNĐ7.7 trillion, marking the highest profit in the airline’s history and more than double the pre-pandemic profits of 2018 and 2019.
