Vietnam’s agricultural, forestry and fishery exports hit a five-year high in the first two months of 2025, according to data released by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on Tuesday.

The European Union (EU) is currently implementing stricter regulations regarding food safety and sustainability for fresh agricultural products, forcing Vietnamese exporters to take measures to adapt.

Vietnam holds 7 billion cubic metres of peat across 36,000 hectares, with the Mekong Delta containing the largest deposits.
