The new air route will bring a weekly capacity of 2,520 seats into play by commencing operations with seven round trips per week.

With a flight-duration of approximately two hours and 10 minutes, the daily schedule will see an Airbus 320 departing Hanoi at 11am and arriving in Can Tho at 1.10pm. On the return leg, the flight will depart Can Tho at 1.45pm and arrive in Hanoi at 3.55pm.

This will be VietJet’s second flight operating out of Can Tho, which is often referred in Vietnamese as “Tây Đô” (The Western Capital). The airline recently opened the country’s first-ever direct route linking Can Tho to Danang, the largest city in central Vietnam.

To celebrate the launch of the new route, VietJet will immediately include the route in its latest mega-promotion, which offers tickets for VND9,000 ($0.4) every day until September 29.
