An art troupe from Uzbekistan will charm the local audience at a night of traditional dance, song and music at the Hà Nội Opera House on April 19.

The performance is part of the Uzbekistan Cultural Days in Vietnam.
Some 33 artistes from the Bukhoro Mavjlari troupe, including veteran Iakhobec Muminovu and Mamud Nomozov, will perform folk songs, dance songs, work songs, customary songs and love songs as well as classical song cycles.
Singer Muminovu will sing with the troupe dancers YorIstab, Mustaizod by well-known composer Muhammadjon Mirzayev. Many of his popular compositions are played on Uzbek television and radio channels.
Uzbek folk songs have beautiful tunes with lively rhythms. There are various forms, such as chorus, solo and duet.
The repertoire includes nearly 20 items of song and dance during holidays and festive events.
After the concert in Hanoi, the troupe will perform in the central province of Thanh Hoa at Lam Sơn Theatre, 22, Phan Chu Trinh Street, at 8pm on April 20.
