VietNamNet Bridge – A dance tour titled “Peace over War” of Together Higher Dance Company from Vietnam and Robin Becker Dance from the US will take place in Hanoi, HCM City and Ha Long from September 25 to 27.

The two dance companies got to know each other via emails while looking for career opportunities and then decided to organize the “Peace over War” dance tour.

They met for the first time on September 22, just five hours prior to the show's press conference. However, they took over a year to discuss and make plans for this project, and they have been through many difficulties to make the collaboration happen.

The two dance troupes will have one performance in each city: in Hanoi on September 25, Ha Long on September 27 and Ho Chi Minh City on September 27.

Higher Dance Company will perform “A Group of Individuals”, a work by Le Vu Long, and Robin Becker Dance "Into Sunlight", which share thoughts about individuals and the social issues involved in the Vietnam-American war as well as its aftermath.

The dance tour is part of activities celebrating the 20th anniversary of Vietnam – U.S. diplomatic relations.
