The communication strategy is the basis for orienting and guiding communication activities to gradually eliminate gender prejudice and gender stereotypes in the implementation of economic activities; Caregiving and decision-making roles in ethnic minority families; promote ethnic minority women to participate in leadership positions; Gradually eliminate customs and practices that are harmful to women and children of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.

Ethnic minorities are a special subject with many difficult conditions; therefore, it is necessary to focus on communication to eliminate some common prejudices and gender stereotypes, especially strengthening the responsibility of the community, sectors and levels to promote gender equality in ethnic minority areas.

In addition, focus on communication to raise awareness and advocate for solving a number of urgent issues that impact the development of ethnic minority women and children such as: Jobs - economic access opportunities; educations; medical - health; domestic violence; eliminate harmful customs and practices; promote ethnic minority women to participate in political and leadership activities…
