VietNamNet Bridge – Three people died yesterday, July 14, when a 16 seater bus collided head on with a motorbike travelling in the opposite direction in Tan Thanh District, Binh Duong Province.
The bus was on its way to HCM City and according to police, the accident occurred in the lane reserved for cars. The two people on the motorbike were killed instantly and one of the injured died on the way to hospital.
In related news, in Binh Duong Province yesterday, another 16 seater bus also hit a motorbike on the Binh Duong Highway, killing the motorbike driver outright.
Two other accidents later the same day in Binh Duong Province saw two die, leaving huge tailbacks on National Highway 1A , near Di An Town in Binh Duong.
According to official statistics, Binh Duong has recorded more than 1830 traffic accidents in the first six months of this year, leaving 210 people dead and 2,400 injured.
