On the afternoon of September 4, the Office of the Party Central Committee held an official ceremony to announce important appointments made by the Secretariat. The appointments included the roles of Assistants and Secretary to General Secretary and President To Lam.

During the event, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, Hoang Dang Quang, formally announced the Secretariat’s decisions regarding personnel assignments.

According to the announcements, the Secretariat has appointed Lieutenant General To An Xo, who previously served as Assistant to the Minister of Public Security, to the role of Assistant to the General Secretary. In this new capacity, To An Xo will also oversee operations within the Office of the General Secretary.

At the ceremony, Politburo member and permanent member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong presented the official appointment decisions and congratulated Lieutenant General To An Xo and Colonel Tran Dang Quynh on their new roles as Assistants to General Secretary and President To Lam.

Colonel Tran Dang Quynh, who also served as Assistant to the Minister of Public Security, was assigned to the Office of the Party Central Committee. He will assume the role of Assistant to the General Secretary and President.

The Chief of the Office of the Party Central Committee also appointed Major Dinh Tien Hai, Deputy Director and Secretary to the Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, as the Secretary to the General Secretary and President.
