In this year's top 10 ranking, five universities are from the U.S., three from the U.K., and two from China.

The rankings are based on data from three core academic fields: Business and Management, Accounting and Finance, and Economics and Econometrics.

MIT maintains its top position due to its high-quality teaching, while the University of Oxford moves up to second place, recognized for its strong research environment.

Notably, Peking University (China) climbs to fourth place, marking a six-spot rise from 2024. Last year, Peking University also saw a five-place jump, making it the only new entrant into the top 10.

The 2025 THE ranking includes 990 universities from 85 countries and territories. Institutions are evaluated based on 18 performance indicators, grouped into five categories:

Six Vietnamese universities made it onto the 2025 THE Business & Economics ranking, with University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) achieving the highest position (301-400).
