Vietnam National University (VNU) – Hanoi remained the country’s top university based on the latest rankings released by QS (Quacquarelli Symond), leading two other Vietnamese schools in the list of Asia’s best universities.

The country’s premier university, VNU-Hanoi made the group ranking from 161-170 in Asia, while VNU-Ho Chi Minh City made the group from 191-200 place trailed by the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi in group 251-300.

VNU-Hanoi Vice Director Nguyen Huu Duc said that the top-performing universities in Asia, were rated based on nine indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per paper, papers per faculty member, proportion of international faculty, proportion of international students, proportion of inbound exchange students and proportion of outbound exchange students.
