On the afternoon of September 29, the Ha Giang Provincial Police reported that a devastating landslide at km51 on National Route 2 through Bac Quang district has caused serious human and property losses.

The landslide occurred around 9 AM of September 29, unleashing over 3,000 cubic meters of earth and rocks from an embankment onto a local community, demolishing three houses. The debris spread across the road, burying five vehicles, including a bus, a truck, and three cars, and blocking approximately 300 meters of the highway, effectively paralyzing traffic in the area.
