Thousands of residents from across Long An province and visitors to the area flocked to the Happyland resort in Ben Luc district to participate in the lantern festival on February 12.

During the event, local people prayed for peace, love, and happiness in the New Year ahead.

Visitors to the resort arrived at the festival early in the morning to be among the bustling atmosphere and see the diverse cultural art activities on display.

Upon entering, each guest received a lantern that features messages of best wishes for their families and relatives.

Over 30,000 lanterns were released by visitors into the lake.
