On the morning of April 20, at the Dong Nai Provincial Center for Events and External Relations, a stunning formation of Vietnam’s map was created in a mass performance involving over 1,000 people.

The event was organized by the Dong Nai Gymnastics Federation in coordination with the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City, drawing a large turnout of members and hundreds of students.
From 6 a.m., participants gathered at the performance area wearing traditional ao dai adorned with yellow stars and conical hats, creating a vibrant and patriotic atmosphere.
Van Linh, a resident of Tan Phong Ward in Bien Hoa City, shared that she and fellow members of the local women’s union had been preparing for the performance for days.
"This isn’t just a public event, but also an opportunity for members to connect, strengthen unity, and express their patriotism," she said.
The ceremony began with a solemn flag-raising ritual, supported by the military, as everyone sang the national anthem in unison.
Immediately after, more than 1,000 people took part in synchronized performances, with the highlight being the formation of the Vietnam map, the phrase “50 years,” and the historical timeline “30/4/1975 - 30/4/2025,” symbolizing five decades of national reunification.
According to the organizers, the program aimed to honor the spirit of patriotism, evoke national pride, and encourage physical fitness and community health through sports and collective activities.
Pham Thi Ngoc Ha, Chairwoman of the Dong Nai Gymnastics Federation, said the event was not only a tribute to history but also a way to spark national pride and inspire love for the country among the younger generation.
“This is part of Bien Hoa City’s celebration of the 50th anniversary of national reunification. I was deeply moved witnessing the unity and patriotism displayed by everyone,” said Ha.
